Zuraidah Ali

Puan Zue or Madam Zue is a lecturer in UNITEN who teaches english and her education backgrounds are in the progress of doing a Ph.D in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and M.Ed. (Measure and Evaluation), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, B.Ed. Hons (TESL), Universiti Malaya. Her area of expertise is group communication, problem-based learning and second language learning.

She teaches me English when I was in foundation and I enjoy entering her class as its always fun with activities.  She will always work hard in making her classes fun with activities like acting a scene from the text book and she is a friendly lecturer and will always guide her students who are weak in her classes. She will give them advice and practices to train them. She used to teach me about public speaking, and she will always gives us practices in her classes to help us to be able to speak better during assesment and encourage us to join public speaking competitions or debate to improves our speaking ability. She always interact with her students no matter where they meet and she run a lot of event and activities in UNITEN for students to have fun.

Now let me tell you more about her, the activities she had done in UNITEN which brings students together and bring something new and fun to us. Recently she held a dodgeball competition in UNITEN which was the first dogdeball competition in UNITEN. The competition was a success as students had fun playing dodgeball and they get to learn about it, the way it's being play, the rules, etc. Besides that, she held the Murni top model on the 14th of march 2012 which was a successful event for the girls in UNITEN as they get to experienced the latest fashion in UNITEN. Back in 2011 which was last year, she held the 1st Inter-residential Public Speaking competition in UNITEN which gives the oppurtunity to students to join a public speaking event and they get to experience the feeling of speaking in front of a public audience. The public speaking was a success as she will be doing the 2nd Inter-residential public speaking competition in UNITEN and I'm sure this time, it will be a more grand event. I think it will be if it gets all the support and participation from students. Besides all these events and competitions, she held lots more event in UNITEN that will bring students together and brings fun to students.
