International Standard Quality Award 2011

These awards are done to assess a companies current performance level against a reasonable set of guidelines for total quality. A very important step in this pursuit is to first understand your own organizational level followed by a comparison between other companies. The comparison are commonly made based on the number of employees, capital investment, wasted efforts, and any other aspects that a company may measure. The following step is to have managers that would admit that there are other people doing a better job than they are, and are able to handle criticism very well, then send them to visit the companies that are believed to have the superior operations. In short, this award is no cake walk.

Why is this award important you ask? Well during the 1990s, the U.S. General Accounting Office or GAO conducted a research on the relationship between quality management activities, against success and profit rates. What they found was beyond the shadow of a doubt. Companies or organizations which had similar awards outperformed the average companies. They achieved a staggering 362-percent rate of growth, compared to the average organizations, which scored a rate of growth numbering 148-percent. That's right, and remember UNITEN is one of the universities that achieved such an award.

International Standard Quality Award 2011

UNITEN may not be the best university out there, but it is still a good one in terms of quality. This prestigious award proves it. However, there are still some people and unfortunately a few of UNITEN's inhabitants who would tarnish and bad-mouth the reputation of UNITEN. My advise to you reader, is to not listen to them, but listen to this award and the several other awards that UNITEN has rightfully won. Once again I will say that this university is a good university and I know it will achieve even more awards and will only propel itself to even greater heights.
